The Challenge
Create a unique destination uniting retail, office, residential and a 2500-seat performance theater into an integrated mixed-use complex that would encapsulate the vibrancy of the festival scene in downtown Montreal.

Deliver a sculpted and sweeping urban landscape incorporating 2 towers, a large central exterior agora for festivals and 2 dramatic “dune-like” pavilions for the theater showroom and the underground retail entrance foyer. Generate a unique visual signature that would forever mark the location of the new international-caliber Entertainment District.
