The Challenge
The project is to consolidate all the office space and operations of the Montreal foundation experts in one location. The challenge was to achieve a simple and functional building while translating the brand purpose into a bold statement in the gritty industrial context.
The Response
An evocative 2-storey building featuring corner entrance and lantern-like glass tower. The signature effect is the “tectonic plaque” of the upper offices volume, displaying a fracture line effect with the lower level, thus embodying the company’s purpose as experts in foundations structure and underpinning.
