Agora Maximus will be back on St-Denis Street!

LAAB'S SIGNATURE PROJECT RETURNS ENHANCED AND EXPANDED FOR 2023

We're delighted to announce that our summer pedestrianization project in the Latin Quarter will be back this summer 2023 in an improved and extended format on rue St-Denis.

From July 15, 2023, bystanders on rue St-Denis will once again be able to enjoy the summer cultural season thanks to extended relaxation areas in front of the St-Sulplice library and also at other intervals with new pixel installations at the corner of rue Émery and near the Ontario intersection. This year, the pixellated seating areas will benefit from ergonomic shelves, and the street markings will be enhanced to mark highlights along the St-Denis promenade. The entrances on St-Denis will be also enhanced by planted pixels to emphasize the reclaiming of the street by pedestrians.

We look forward to seeing you there to celebrate the famous Quartier latin's joie de vivre!

"A colourful and green oasis in full harmony with the lively and festive character of Montreal’s Quartier Latin, as an excellent example of tactical urbanism that seamlessly combines environmental and social sustainability.
