The Challenge
Combine into one integrated complex multiple cultural and sports venues including an interior Olympic-sized pool, a 1200-seat theater with full fly-tower, a sports auditorium as well as sufficient spectator, support and technical facilities.
The Response
Finalist proposal in an invited international competition featuring starchitects such as Toyo Ito (Japan), the scheme evokes the breathtaking landscapes of Southern China and inspires citizens to congregate within its embracing organic form and invites patrons to climb on its slopes to take in panoramic views of the City.
